IACS Ltd is celebrating after being named Best Family Business at the 2025 Tunbridge Wells Business Awards.
Part of the Kent Business Awards, the event brought together businesses from across the region to celebrate local enterprise and success. For IACS, this recognition highlights the strength of its family values and the people-first approach that has continually strengthened the company for over 25 years.
Founded by the late John Hewitt, IACS has grown its inspection service into a leading consultancy specialising in pipeline inspection, engineering and non-destructive testing (NDT). Today, under the leadership of Ross and Laura Hewitt, John’s children, the business remains grounded in the principles that have shaped its success – integrity, quality and care for its people.
Laura Hewitt, Director at IACS Ltd, comments:
“To win Best Family Business is incredibly special. This award is about more than success – it’s about recognising the values that our dad built this company on. Ross and I are proud to continue that legacy, supported by an exceptional team that stands for the same commitment to quality and integrity every day.”
James Baker, Operations Manager at IACS Ltd, adds:
“This achievement is a true reflection of the dedication and teamwork across IACS. Family values are at the heart of everything we do, and this award reinforces how those principles continue to drive our growth, culture and relationships, both within the team and with our clients and partners.”
The Tunbridge Wells Awards were held at Tudor Park Marriott in Maidstone.
As a second-generation family business, IACS continues to evolve while maintaining its focus on people, community and excellence. These are the very qualities that have helped it stand out from the start.
