IACS T&E Shortlisted at Hopwood Hall Apprenticeship Awards

IACS T&E, the dedicated training and education subsidiary for IACS and leading provider of specialised training for pipeline inspectors in the energy sector, is celebrating as it has been nominated for two awards at Hopwood Hall College’s inaugural Apprenticeship Awards.

Nominated categories…

The company has been shortlisted in the ‘SME of the Year’ and ‘Bespoke Collaboration of the Year’ categories, reflecting its commitment to nurturing new talent and fostering innovative partnerships to address the critical skills gap in the sector.

The ‘SME of the Year’ nomination highlights IACS T&E’s dedication to providing meaningful training and development opportunities for apprentices. Meanwhile, the ‘Bespoke Collaboration of the Year’ nomination celebrates the company’s collaboration with the college and key partners to develop the pioneering ‘Practitioner in Pipelines for Hydrogen and Utilities’ (PIPHU) apprenticeship programme.

An exciting shortlist…

James Baker, Director of IACS T&E, comments:

“To be nominated for not just one, but two awards at Hopwood’s first-ever apprenticeship awards is phenomenal. It’s a testament to the strategic investment that IACS has made in establishing the apprenticeship and a dedicated training and education subsidiary, the work of our team and the dedication of our college partners that has resulted in a successful collaboration.

“The PIPHU apprenticeship is more than a training programme – it’s a transformative opportunity within the industry and a chance to develop the next generation of skilled professionals.

“We’re really looking forward to attending the awards night and celebrating alongside other nominees. Fingers crossed for a win!”
